Anja Ravine

Anja Ravine is a biomedical researcher with a clinical background in general paediatrics, clinical genetics and genetic pathology. As a researcher, Anja completed higher degree research training at the Murdoch Institute and Victorian Clinical Genetics Service, before relocating to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. On returning to Australia, Anja’s clinical-academic career continued on, initially with PathWest and University of Western Australia; as the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia’s chief examiner in genetic pathology, and subsequently as genetic pathologist at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney. Anja has recently rejoined the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, this time redirecting their research skills towards improving the health and well-being of trans and gender diverse young people.
