Dear Mx. Thing: why are queer people so good at clocking my autism?
Hey Mx. Thing!
All the people who quickly clock me as autistic seem to be gay. Straight people can take months or even years to recognize my neurodivergence if I don’t self-identify, but queer folks seem to pick up on it right away.
Do LGBTQ+ people have a special autism finder on their gaydar? Is this a thing?
